In January, I discovered my local library had an Oculus Rift. An application on there called Medium allowed me to sculpt in virtual reality. It's a big deal. I was able, in a matter of hours, to create sculptural content that would have taken me days or longer to build in the real world. I also discovered how much I miss working in color. I plan on continuing this activity at the library as often as I can.
The only thing that stymies me is making these things manifest. For that, I need a 3D printer. I may need to find a service. Shapeways, maybe.
