I've spent all day burning out wax from the student pieces for bronze class. The class starts in fifteen minutes, and I've gotten through the last batch, which looked like this in the kiln:
We have metal tray filled with water underneath the kiln to reclaim wax, this is what was in the tray:Yeah, eww. That is all the red extruded tube wax. I think I will hold on to it, and maybe wear it under my shirt to show off.
